Two of Stones:

On Time management, Juggling priorities and Adapting

Now the work begins. The Rabbit from the Ace of Stones has led you to the Busy Beaver, the tiny workhorse of the animal kingdom, a true engineering and planning expert, and you have followed the beaver into a secret cave filled with turquoise crystals. The Beaver, tasked with gathering wood to build a dam, faces a conundrum: to drop the wood and take the captivating turquoise crystals instead, or to carry on with his duties at hand, leaving the crystals in their natural home, beautiful and unmined?

Twos symbolize balance or imbalance, harmony or friction, while Stones hold the power of wealth, resources and the material world, so the Two of Stones is an indication that you are currently focused on balancing your resources, juggling your time and priorities, and adapting to all the changes associated with starting a new project, opportunity, side hustle or income strategy. Beavers, as mentioned, are workhorses and masters of using their environments to benefit their needs, building dams to control water flow. Turquoise, associated with perfectly blue skies, holds the powers of hope, good fortune and protection.

This is the card of adaptability, time management and juggling. Perhaps the excitement has worn off and a little bit of reality is setting in as the project has grown. Maybe you’ve taken on multiple hats now, or have begun juggling too much while trying to fit this new pursuit or goal into your life. Do not fret! Adapting to current pressures and needs and learning how to juggle your time is all a part of the process. Balancing everything right now feels like walking a tight rope, and life feels a bit rushed, but if you’re working toward your goals and are content when you fall asleep at night, that’s living your best life. Pat yourself on the back. You’ve got this.

If you’re feeling blocked

Even if you love everything you do, taking on too much can cause a lot of stress. Finding and balancing time is the challenge here, as it’s so limited. It can be stressful thinking about the true value of your time, of every passing minute spent paralyzed by indecision, twiddling your thumbs, researching an option or scrolling your phone, but if we don’t ask ourselves if something is really worth our time, we wind up wasting a lot of time. So maybe it’s time to put some time into time itself: revamp your routine, set strong limits on things you’re doing too much of and strong minimums on things you must be doing more of, but allow yourself the amount of flexibility you really need, too. Maybe you need to gamify your minutes and hours: points for hours well-spent, and genuine rewards for points. The Turquoise stones represent hope, wisdom and good fortune, so just trust that you can find the time for your true priorities.
