Ace of Stones:
On Manifestation, Opportunities and time

A baby rabbit sits in a field of dandelions, stunned by the discovery of a single moonstone gem in a field of dandelion wishes. It’s a lucky sight to behold indeed; an indication that you’ve recently been at the right place at the right time. Moonstones are the gems of new beginnings, linked to time and the tides, and are connected to the wisdom of the Moons, while rabbits are often symbols of abundance, prosperity, luck and fertility. Aces are linked to new opportunities, fresh starts and sprouting seeds, while Stones hold the powers of wealth, resources, support and the material world. The Ace of Stones is about prosperity, abundance, new beginnings and green lights, so it’s possible you’ve recently had an idea you want to monetize, been offered a new job or career opportunity or have been gifted a new resource or amount of money: perhaps an inheritance, grant funding, or crossing paths with a powerful new acquaintance. While it feels “new”, this opportunity or idea isn’t something random or out-of-the-blue; it’s something you planted the seeds for, something you’ve been building up to, something you’ve manifested through your actions and choices. The Ace of Stones is a sign that, whatever is currently sprouting, it definitely has potential and promise — though success isn’t guaranteed. It might turn into a lesson, or serve as a bridge to something better for you. Either way, this is something you’ve asked for, something you’ve manifested into your life, and you should grab hold of it and see where you can go with it.

If you’re feeling blocked

If you’re not jumping at the opportunity or idea that’s gained all your mind’s attention, the Ace of Stones might be a sign that there is a catch, or that you’re not quite ready to make a big move yet, that you still need to iron out some wrinkles. It’s okay to wait. The right opportunity that is meant for you won’t just disappear; it wants you. Opportunities that aren’t an immediate “yes” for you have been manifested by someone else - someone looking for someone like you, but that doesn’t mean they are meant for you. There may be because of extenuating circumstances that are keeping you from saying yes, but those circumstances are really flashing signs telling you to wait for the right one. That might be disappointing, but your next project, mission or opportunity is nearby. Remember: opportunities come with every passing wind, every obstacle, every challenge, every restraint. Creating an opportunity is easy (even if executing it is not). It’s Time that is difficult to master, symbolized here in the moonstone and the suit of Stones (as Time is our most valuable resource), so reflect on that for a bit. Get inspired by the length of each passing moment, by the tides, by clocks, by the physics of the fourth dimension. Are the ways you’re spending your time coming out to a net gain, leaving you feeling inspired, motivated and full of wonder, or do you feel like you’re always just losing time, getting sucked into rabbit hole after rabbit hole with no rabbits to be seen?

Creativity exercises:

Create your own creativity rabbit hole: Decorate a treasure chest for your ideas. Every time you go down a rabbit hole that doesn’t result in creative inspiration, or have an idea that you don’t have the time to move forward with now, write it down and store it in the box, for use when you need it.

Get inspired by doors and doorways: What would the doorways to these opportunities you’re weighing look like, if their characteristics were more deeply descriptive than utilitarian? Would they be grand entrances or tiny secrets? What kind of scene is on the other side? Would they be made out of grafitti’d concrete and heavy to move, or would they be made of glass and invisible to the world?

Create something with the theme of time and how you’re experiencing it

Upcycle some single-use plastic or other throwaway item into a plant container with paint, fabric and other found materials and plant some seeds to care for; make a new container for each opportunity you’re manifesting into fruition.
